When you go to the nails salon what type of nails do you get? When I was little, to be more exact in my 6th grade graduation I did my nails for the first time. I was sad because I got acrylics and that’s when I figured that I could handle them because I have this habit of ripping my nails off, so I really hurt myself unconsciously and it really gave me a good view of my bad habits

Now I’ve try both again I’ve tried acrylics an gel and personally I really like gel. Maybe is weird because when I was in middle school and till this day they ALL wear acrylics and its sad because they all have the same style too and I don’t know if its a trend but I personally don’t like it exactly like that, because they are not ugly, in fact its such a particular style, but personally not my style.

Gel in the other hand prevents me from chewing on my nails and it helps my nails healing too. Its crazy but they last less time unless you keep up with the fillings at the salon. The ones that don’t keep up think that they are bad but when you think about it you can get a manicure and pedicure for the price of just one set of acrylics at the salon. Many girls have friends, family members or just nail techs that do their nails for a cheap price but I have none of those so I have to go to the salon and its a big money dump for real.
