To End the Westwood Wrestling season with a great end with four state placers Two from the Girls wrestlers and two from the boys wrestling team The two girls state placers being Eliza Anderson 165 3rd place , Liliah Williamson 152 5th place and for the Boys ben Thompson 106 6th place place, Preston Atwood 215 4th place. ben thompson being the first state placer in 5 years securing 6th by pinning a kid from Perry high last time Westwood had multiple state placer was about 2019 almost a decade later.
Westwood Wrestling ended its season on a high note with four state placers- two from the girls’ team and two from the boys’ team. The girls’ state placers were Eliza Anderson (165 lbs), who took 3rd place, and Liliah Williamson (152 lbs), who placed 5th. For the boys, Ben Thompson (106 lbs) earned 6th place, and Preston Atwood (215 lbs) finished in 4th place.
Ben Thompson became the first state placer in five years, securing 6th place by pinning an opponent from Perry High. The last time Westwood had multiple state placers was around 2019, making this achievement especially significant.
