On October 16th and 17th, Westwood hosted its annual Battle of the Bands, a competition where students could sign up to go on the stage of the amphitheater to perform a song of their choosing. Along with performing the songs, they are also competing against each other to be crowned the winner and to earn the title of the best band/soloist in Westwood until the next competition.
This competition is no joke, as many people sign up to perform and try to win the title, with many expressing its difficulty. For instance, Alex Reyes noted that “The competition was quite tough.”
