Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes at a sports game? I’m here to tell you, because I help make it all happen!
A lot of work goes on behind the scenes, from handing out uniforms to making sure we have all the equipment we need and that all the players have everything they need. Our busiest season is football because we have so many different sports going on at the same time.
For football, we handle all the coaches’ headsets, put the yard markers out on the field, and turn everything on in the press box. For volleyball and basketball, we pull out the bleachers and set up the scorer’s table. For soccer, we just turn everything on in the press box and set up the corner flags. For baseball, all we do is set up the sound system and the scoreboard. For the rest of the sports, we don’t do much besides handing out uniforms.
