A Homecoming Out of This World

Do You Remember the 21st Night of September?

This month Westwood had an outstanding Homecoming celebration! Not only did everyone have a great time at the dance, but everyone had many incredible experiences leading up to it. To begin, there was the morning sports assembly where everyone celebrates our talented sports teams.

Later that day took place the Homecoming parade, where all of Westwood’s clubs, sports, and Homecoming Royalty nominees represented themselves on floats. It’s a beautiful experience for the community. Families come out to watch the parade, and children beam excitedly, holding bags to fill with candy.

That evening during halftime of the Homecoming game, the HOCO Royalty nominees were escorted to the field. They all waved happily towards the crowd at supportive friends and family. The Homecoming Queen of 1979, and Homecoming King of 1984 made an appearance to crown the winners of this year.

The next day people danced, laughed, and had a great time with friends and partners at the Homecoming Dance. Homecoming 2024 was definitely an Out of This World experience.
