In a 10-day report of predicted weather by the Weather Channel, it may seem that temperatures will be lower than 100 degrees on September 2 and later. This comes after an overly hot Summer where we’ve been hitting new records. Unsurprisingly, most high records have only been 1-2 degree differences. However, there were some record-breaking days, July 18 being the hottest, with a high of 118 degrees.
So, be excited that the overly hot Summer has ended. Fall is approaching, starting on September 22, and the cold coming on September 20. From then on, most highs will be under 100 degrees and lower in the coming weeks. Also, don’t be surprised if some days go over 100 degrees. This just marks the end of Summer and the start of Fall.
For most people, this is disappointing since Summer break is the only 3 month break some get in a school year, but there is greatness to it. As the cold months tend to have the best Holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas, New Year’s, etc., that’s mainly why I’m excited for the Fall cold. The other reason is that it’s gonna be cold and fantastic.
