Writing Tips

If you are writing for our site please keep these in mind:

• Before criticizing a student production or sport, realize that they are not professionals and they have likely put hundreds of hours of work into their activity.
• DO NOT publish false statements that are damaging to a persons reputation.

Writing Style:

• Since the events have happened already, please write in past tense.
• Make your stories easy to read by using correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• We are looking for student perspectives and opinions, and Chat GPT doesn’t go here.
• If it sounds like homework your peers won’t want to read it. Try to make it exciting and easy to read.
• Do not use slang, slurs or profanity.
