This Tuesday was the first Badminton match of the school year. It was against Marcos De Niza High School, and Westwood kicked off the season with a super strong start!
Before the action begins, both schools take time to warm up and shine up their skills to perform their best in what’s to come.
Then each team member pairs up with someone from the other school,
and that’s when the fun begins.
“We absolutely crushed them,” says Grace Layton (pictured above), and she is right. Westwood completely obliterated their opponents, with a score of 9-0! The Westwood Badminton team does not disappoint, and we wish them the best to come for all the games ahead.
