Have you ever fallen off a bike or a scooter? I have, many times, but I’m going to tell you about the time my friend and I both fell off an electric scooter. First, a little background: my friend and I live close to each other and are like family. We go to school together every morning, and we also go home together every day. My mom recently bought me an electric scooter, so now we ride it to school every morning. One day, we were riding to school and talking. Everything was going well until my friend decided it would be a good idea to lean to one side. On that side of the road, there was a dip, and I tried to lean the other way to balance us, but it was too late. We were going about 10 miles per hour, and I saw we were about to hit a fire hydrant. I tried to brake, but I couldn’t stop in time, so I swerved out of the way. We both went flying off the scooter. I slid on the concrete, and my friend slid into the street. The crazy part is we were both wearing white shirts. When we got up, my left arm was scratched up and bleeding a little. My friend’s arm was also scratched and bleeding, and his was a little worse than mine. We still had to get to school, so we went straight there. I took him to the nurse, and I still had to go to my class with my white shirt all dirty from the fall.
