I was at my nana’s one day, spending the weekend with her and helping with her house cleaning. I decided to sit down to relax for a bit, and we were talking about how my cousin had moved really far away.
My mom and dad were there too, and my dad said my cousin moved “all the way to Timbuktu.” I was surprised and said, “Timbuktu is a real place!” My mom and dad just started laughing, saying, “OH MY GOD, NO WAY YOU JUST SAID THAT, MIJA!” I was confused and went to my room.
Later that week, I went back to my nana’s and told her what happened. She said, “WHAT” and just started dying of laughter. I was so embarrassed and thought, “Oh my god, not the laughing again.”
By the way, guys, Timbuktu is a real place!
