The girls’ soccer varsity team season started off with a tough loss, conceding 6 goals. However, they kept their heads up and tied their next game, then won their following two matches. They lost their next three games but managed to score in each of them. They won their next game 2-0, followed by a 3-1 loss. They bounced back with two consecutive wins. In their next match, they suffered a mercy rule defeat, losing 9-1. They left that game in the past and came back to win their next game with a 3-0 victory, showcasing their hard work and resilience.
Unfortunately, after that, they lost several matches, including a close one against their biggest rivals, Mesa High School, with a score of 1-0. With three more games left in their season, they are hopeful to win those matches. Currently, they have a decent record with 6 wins, 10 losses, and 1 tie. They have scored 22 goals in total and conceded 46 goals. The girls’ varsity team is having an okay season, and we hope they can win their upcoming games to increase their wins and finish the season strong.
