Westwood had an incredible outstanding game last night against Gila Ridge, taking the win. The score being 73-61, Kenny Johnson with the craziest performance scoring 20 points leading his team to victory. Cj Moore with 9 ast helping his team all around. 

This was a great game for Westwood High School because it showcased their teamwork and determination. Kenny Johnson’s 20 points were crucial, but it was also the solid defense and smart plays by the entire team that secured the win. CJ Moore’s 9 assists showed his ability to support his teammates and create scoring opportunities. The win boosts their confidence and positions them well for future games. Overall, it was a complete team effort that highlighted their skills and preparation. 

The Warriors (3-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Mountain View (Mesa, AZ). The Toros come into the 6A East Valley challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Mountain View prevailed over Skyline (Mesa, AZ), 71-35, in a league challenge.
