Contrary to many beliefs I fully believe that Messi is the best soccer player to exist. He was born on June 24, 1987 in Rosario, Argentina. When he was younger he would go out and play soccer with his older brother and he was unintimidated by the older kids. By the age of 8 years old he was already recruited to play for the youth system of Newell’s Old Boys. But he was always smaller than other kids and was eventually diagnosed with hormone deficiency which restricted his growth. Then his parents decided to do nightly growth-hormone injections for Messi. Then at the age of 13 years old he was invited to train at soccer FC Barcelona’s youth academy. From that point on his family and he had to move to Spain where he moved up the ranking very quickly at FC Barcelona. He quickly adapted and started doing amazing in the league and has made a statement ever since. Ultimately, Messi’s short stature—5 feet, 7 inches—combined with his speed and amazing  attacking style has gained him 10 LaLiga championships, 9 LaLiga Best Player awards, 8 Ballon d’Or awards, 7 Copa del Rey titles, 6 Champions League scoring titles, 4 Champions League titles, 3 Best FIFA Men’s Player awards,  3 FIFA Club World Cup titles, 2 Ligue 1 championships, 2 Copa América titles, 2 FIFA World Cup Golden Ball awards, 1 MLS MVP, 1 MLS Best IX, 1 Leagues Cup title, 1 Olympic gold medal (2008 Beijing), and 1 World Cup title. With all of this info I think you can agree with me that Lionel Messi is the best soccer player to exist.
