The Westwood High School basketball team suffered a tough 1-3 start to the season after losing to the Horizon Huskies. Despite the loss, there were positive takeaways, especially from freshman Krew Brinkerhoff, who earned “Player of the Game” honors. Brinkerhoff, who has averaged 6.3 rebounds per game, was a standout on the boards, showing a strong presence in the paint despite the Warriors’ struggles throughout the game. Against Horizon, Westwood faced a disciplined and well-coached opponent. The Huskies controlled much of the game with their efficient offense and tight defense. Westwood showed flashes of potential, but inconsistent shooting and turnovers hurt their chances to keep up with Horizon’s pace. Nevertheless, the Warriors never stopped fighting, with Brinkerhoff and others continuing to play hard even as the game slipped away. Looking ahead, the Warriors are focused on their next matchup against the Chandler Wolves. The Wolves, who bring a high level of competition, will be another tough challenge for Westwood, but it’s a game the team is determined to win. With a record of 1-3, the Warriors know they need to turn things around quickly if they hope to remain in playoff contention.

I have never done a yearbook but I like taking pictures and being in them. I think it's really good to be able to capture such amazing moments watching someone stand still in a camera is amazing.
