In case you didn’t know Tetris is a puzzle, strategy game (gets your brain workin). It was created in 1985 by Alexey Pajitnov. And today it has sold over 520 Million copies making it the most sold game in the world, according to the Tetris Company. With 70 ports to multiple different platforms such as, Switch, PlayStation, X-Box (basically all the big gaming companies consoles), and obviously many more.
For almost 38 years Tetris had never been beaten, until December 21st 2023 a 13 year old named Willis Gibson, also known as blue scuti beat Tetris by getting a glitch in the code to crash the game. And the world record for the highest score is 16,248,080 points by Alex Thach (on the NES version).
Tetris is fun and enjoyed by adults that grew up playing and newcomers alike. And now (hopefully) you (will try it out). (I think I added to many things in parentheses. wait a minute)
