Stardew Valley is a fun and relaxing game for all types of gamers. Stardew is not just a farming simulator, it includes other aspects such as mining, friendship, romance, fishing, foraging, decorating, and combat. The game has something for everyone, and can even be played in co-op with up to four people. The game also includes interesting storylines, which vary based on decisions you make, friendship, and skill level.
The game begins with the player inheriting their grandpa’s farm in a small town called Stardew Valley. They move to the old farmhouse, and can then explore the town, forest, beach, and other surrounding areas. The player soon discovers an abandoned community center, which is the main quest of the game. The player can either choose to fix the community center by collecting items and donating them, or they can sell out to the big corporation in the game: JojaMart. In either of these routes, the player unlocks new parts of the game (locations, machines, recipes, holidays, transportation, buildings) as they progress. However, completing the community center quest is not necessary for a fun playthrough; there are plenty of other things to do in the game.
Overall, Stardew Valley is a 10/10 game and I’d highly recommend it.
