On Friday, the Westwood Warriors took a hard fought win against the Diamond Bar Brahmas with the final score being 14-7. Coming out to California and taking the win was a very big achievement for the Westwood Warriors especially because the Warriors have not started positively in years. This new team looks like they can change the Warrior name for the better through the way they are playing and the determination that they have. Westwood early in the game found their star player Keshawn Barkus, rushing for 163 yards with 2 touchdowns. Elliot Reed was very dominant on the ground, rushing for 91 yds. Westwood’s next game will be on Friday at 7:00 against Skyline where Westwood will fight to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
