With the 2023-2024 school year, a handful of new clubs appeared on the school roster. One notable example is the Chinese Club. Previously existing already, the club was revived this year by several students after not being available for a year.
Mr. Dangerfield was the new supervisor, hosting meetings for his twelve current members in portable 66 on Mondays. Was, past tense, because he is leaving Westwood next year to go teach at a different school.
Will this be the end of the Chinese club a second time, or will another teacher bring it back for the 2024-2025 school year? Time will only tell, but for now it seems the club has been out to rest again after it’s short year back in business.
